"The Bad Guys"
	The Miktai - expansionary techno-organic builders:  The Miktai are a powerful and intelligent alien race that have mastered synthetic biology.  Their powerful synthesoid creations, the Serentoids, are the backbone of their fighting strategy.  The Miktai have forever been at war with the Kai of their homeworld, and have recently overwhelmed them near the point of annihilation.
		- The Mintai - super intelligent soldiers/builders:  The Mintai are a unique species whose natural metabolism incorporate several alloys, improving their strength, durability, flexibility, and communication skills.  Though the Mintai each possess a seperate mind, their evolved social structure is so complex that they can almost function as a single being.  Because of this and their extreme intelligence, they are very difficult to fight.
		- The Serentoids - robotic constructs:  The Serentoids are extremely durable synthetic organisms designed for warfare.  Despite being more dead than alive, the Serentoids possess both agility and grace in addition to their combat prowess.  They possess no single nervous processing center, but can combine localized sections of their synthetic nervous system to perform those tasks normally sent to a creature's brain.  Because of this efficiency, a Serentoid almost never stops fighting - no matter how damaged it is.
