A bright young woman with much potential, Bridget Lones has recently joined the Acer's Hueys
after a decision to live a military lifestyle. Her father's strong military background has provided
her with an almost natural curiousity of war. First strapping herself into a cockpit at the age of
17, Bridget soon fell in love with the ease of piloting smaller BattleMechs. Her father's old
Phoenix Hawk, named Nor the Slayer, has become Bridget's personal companion on most scouting
and skirmishing runs. Growing up on the Marik border of the Capellan Confederation, Bridget has
seen fewer battles than many of the other Huey's pilots. She has participated in multiple raids
and scouting runs in the company of her father and his new Vulcan BattleMech. Despite these
encounters, Bridget knows very little about actual Mech to Mech warfare. Her recent fight with
lancemate Thomas against a Davion loyalist Kintaro was her first actual Mech battle. Luckily,
training programs and simulators provide Bridget with some knowledge of how to handle such
situations. Bridget has been waiting to join a mercenary unit for nearly 3 years, trying to
improve her skills and select a small respectable team that she might feel at home with. She
applied for her position within the Hueys after her father selected the team as a worthy
candidate. His determining factor for choosing the Hueys probably lies in the commander's
homeworld, which Bridget's family and Ace Leghorn share in common. Bridget's limited
experience but early start place her near average in gunnery and piloting skills. As with many
young pilots, she to greatly hone her skills when experiencing her first warfare. She has recently
purchased her father's Mech for her own purpose. The Hueys welcome the new BattleMech since
recent funds have been unusually low. Bridget joins the team in place of Shane Belmont, who
recently died when his cockpit was crushed after receiving a punch from an 80 ton Charger Mech.
Bridget hopes to maintain her current position, in which she is under contract for 1 year. She
plans to support her family since her father has recently retired from the Capellan Confederation
Armed Forces. Bridget has been well received with most of the team. Her cheery attitude has
helped to fill the gap left by Shane’s and Piter's recent deaths. She will most likely continue
piloting the Phoenix Hawk because the Mech actually belongs to her.
