Strider's Strikers...

The Mercenaries (Mur suh nare ees)-
Strider's Strikers are a group of mercenaries, or mercenary team.  Mercenaries
are people who fight in exchange for money.  This probably sounds terrible for
most people.  Mercenaries are used in the BattleTech story as a legal way of
having a military force.  They help some people to protect their planet if it gets
attacked.

Strider's Strikers-
The team was made by a man named Mike Strider.  He started the team with
only 3 other people in the year 3058.  Now the year is 3066.  The team grew so
it now has about 200 members.
The team has a lot of robots, about 120.  They are called BattleMechs, or
Mechs.  The Mechs are very strong and are like walking tanks.  They are like
Gundam robots, but not so strong as Gundam.

Team Players-
The real people who play the BattleTech game live in America.  They used to
play the game in the year 2000 a lot.
Now there are players from Australia and Japan.  You can see the list of players
