House Liao was the second deck designed to
use tactics rather than straight up fighting. It
was designed in high school days when this
type of fighting was not so common to our
group. The creation of the Legacy cards
greatly improved the Liao deck, finally making
the Subterfuge type of card free if the Legacy
was activated in the deck. This deck still
struggles to perform, which leads some to think
that the game's designers purposefully made
the Liao team weaker than that of the other
House theme decks.
