Can a single Character attack more than one character per Turn?…
[dcs_p]A character can attack only one target per Turn, unless that character’s Special Ability says otherwise. An
example of this kind of exception is the Clan Commando Machine Gunner character.[/dcs_p]
My character has more than one weapon. How many can I use against an opponent in a single Turn?…
[dcs_p]If an Unarmored character has more than one weapon, that character can attack with up to two weapons each
Turn. Because most Armored characters like Battle Armor mount several weapons and have computer-aided
targeting systems, Armored characters can attack with as many weapons as needed. If you do not like this
rule, you can modify it as you see fit.[/dcs_p]
Can I attack enemies that I cannot see?…
[dcs_p]Characters cannot attack a target unless they have Line of Sight to the target. Exceptions to this rule include
the Clan Commando Assault Grenadier and the Inner Sphere Rapid – Fire Grenadier. These characters can fire
around corners if another friendly character is able to see behind that corner. If they are not able to see behind
that corner, they have the choice to fire a random shot. The random shot behaves just as a regular shot would,
and continues its path of trajectory until it hits a target or reaches its maximum range. If the shot hits a target
along its path, it does the damage to the target. If the shot does not hit a target along this path, it does its
damage at the Circle of maximum Range.[/dcs_p]
[dcs_p]Note: Though they may be located in the line of sight of an opponent, characters like the Clan Commando
Stealth Infiltrator and Inner Sphere Martial Arts Infiltrator cannot be attacked according to the rules established
in the stealth portion of their Special Ability or rules expressed in the Special Abilities of other characters..[/dcs_p]
The physical weapons, such as Battle Armor Claws, have a Range of 1. Does this mean I have to be in
the same Circle as my enemy to make an attack?…
[dcs_p]A Range of 1 simply means that you must be standing next to an enemy to attack them with a physical
weapon. Characters in ArmorTech cannot stand in the same Circle.[/dcs_p]
Can I shoot through another character to hit an opponent behind them?
[dcs_p]Yes, it is perfectly acceptable to attack an enemy who is behind another enemy. The only exception to this rule
is the Purifier Adaptive character. This character’s Special Ability can protect others from attack.[/dcs_p]
Can I move through another character?
[dcs_p]Yes you can move through another friendly character. However you cannot move through a Circle occupied
by an enemy character.[/dcs_p]
What happens if an attack or Special Ability roll ties with my opponent’s corresponding roll?
[dcs_p]In this instance, the attacker attacks or performs their Special Ability successfully. However Special Ability
options act at their minimum. For example, the Inner Sphere Laser Rifleman’s Suppressive Fire would affect
only 1 enemy.[/dcs_p]
