Diosd Planetary Assault....
Taking a contract with the instellar communications and
military group Comstar, the Strider's Strikers are now part of a
planetary assault team that includes other mercenaries and
Comstar forces. The Striker's team will combat-drop from a
Dropship to attack a region of Diosd's main continent, an area
of rolling plains and small hills. Three enemy Jade Falcon
units are known to patrol this area. Encountering any of the
three, the Strikers must assault and destroy the enemy Clan
forces.
The Strikers may receive help from Diosd's rebels, a group of
Inner Sphere militia men struggling to take their planet back
from the Jade Falcon Clan. While two of the Clan forces may
prove to be rather weak opponents, an elite unit composes
the third force in the Jade Falcon defense. Militia aid could
prove very useful and could be called upon if the Strikers
must face the elite enemy unit.
The Strikers will receive standard mercenary fees for their aid
to Comstar, with an advance bonus consisting of an assault
class Mech addition to their team. If the contract is completed
successfully, the Strikers will earn themselves a better
reputation with the Outreach Mercenary Commission and the
possibility of future employment with Comstar.
