Fredrick is an ex-Knight of the Inner Sphere and a veteran of battles against the
Clans, not to mention one of the closest friends of Alec de Payens. He has been
fighting alongside Alec for over 10 years. They both joined the Knights of the Inner
Sphere together and the Marik armed forces before that. They have fought against
countless enemies and built a friendship cemented in battle.
Frederick left the Knights with Alec as he too saw the Marik government come
more tightly under the control of the Word of Blake, ever more reliant on what he
saw as a power hungry organisation. It was becoming more accepting of the
internal influence the Blakists seemed to be amassing, an influence aimed at
controlling the inner workings of the League itself.
Fredrick commands the assault company in his modified Cerberus. He is an expert
at putting those Gauss rounds exactly where they hit hardest. In combat he is able
to get an incredible amount of head shots, like the Gauss rifles are an actual
extension of his own arms. Luckily this allows plenty of salvage for the Crusaders
to pick-up as spoils of war, a clause in their contracts they always press for.
