Gretta Anderson was one of several members of the Strikers' special Mechwarrior
training program. Boasting Clan fighting techniques with the latest of the Inner
Sphere's tactics, the program attracted many during the Strikers hiring and team
upgrade. Gretta Anderson, the original sign-on to the program, was with the team
for quite some time. Though she hadn't seen much action, Gretta a lot of her time
practicing her Mech piloting skills. When Gretta's major fight came after her
lance arrived to retake the Strider's Strikers HQ from the Word of Blake, her faith
in lance commander Norbert Owens ensured cooperation among the four
Mechwarriors. She highly respected Norbert, both for his sense of enthusiasm as
well as his "tough as nails" attitude. Gretta's Hollander and its powerful Gauss
rifle provided the long range fire support that her small lance so dearly needed.
Gretta was among the many killed when Blakists firebombed a barracks facility in
3068. She and most of her company were caught completely unaware. She was
unable to escape from the building and died fighting the fires that consumed the
complex.
