Fritz Dravnerr was a man with a sense of humor. Most could plainly see this as
evidenced by his BattleMech's "unique" paint scheme. Fritz had selected a bovine
coloring to represent his interpretation of his "grazer" Mech. Many of the
Strikers enjoyed such a sense of humor, but Clan members seemed to take the
joke in a somewhat different fashion. Fritz had joined the Strikers after discharge
from the Capellan Confederation Armed Forces. The Xin Sheng revitalization
movement actually demoted Fritz to replace his lance commander position with
someone of "greater" skill. Fritz left for nearby Outreach, where he met Striker
correspondents.
Fritz fought under his lance commander, Holden Trumphay. He met unfortunate
tragedy during a Blakist attack in 3068. After losing his Mech and ejecting shortly
thereafter, he retreated to a nearby barracks building during the evacuation of the
Strikers base. He and those support personnel within the temporary barracks
were cut off from help by Blakist infantry. Unable to reach their Dropship,
completely surrounded, and simply lacking the proper weapons to defend
themselves, the group barricaded themselves in. Blakists Warships bombarded
the entire area that had once been the makeshift base, ensuring there would be no
survivors to lead a rebellion after the defeat of the primary forces. Fritz was one of
the dozens of those killed during the strike.
