Peter Gabriel was a radical supporter of House Davion. Peter spent 7 years in his
nation's military. He learned the military traditions of the Federated Suns despite
some interference by the Lyran influence during the peaceful days of the
Federated Commonwealth. After Melissa Steiner's assassination, Peter gained
new hate for Katherine Steiner-Davion. He believed she was directly responsible
for her murder. Soon thereafter, Peter predicted what was to come for the
Federated Suns; first it's breakup from the Commonwealth and then its "capture"
by Katherine. When Katherine did come to power, Peter resigned from his
position. He hoped to fight for Victor but lacked the sheer number of contacts
necessary to actually make such a move. Instead he went to Outreach to look for
a mercenary contract that would allow him to join the cause. When Striker
representative Ransway Burke publicly announced the Strider's Strikers future
contract with House Davion, Peter couldn't help but sign on. Unfortunately for
Peter, only the Clan half of the Strikers pursued the Davion cause initially.
Peter was angered at his Striker commanders for refusing to let him join the war
against the Lyrans. He tried to fuel his fury's fire by attempting to persuade his
lance commander into stealing a Striker Dropship and attacking Steiner forces.
Sameer repeatedly refused to listen to Peter's secret requests, and threatened to
alert superiors if Peter wouldn't accept the way things were.
Only time brought relief to Peter, when the Strikers mercenaries dispatched units
for an additional contract against Lyran forces. Peter was able to play a part in the
fighting, as well as earn himself a respectable number of kills. He earned new
respect for his lance leader as well as the contract's designated commander, Duo
Maxwell of the Draconis Combine.
Peter was killed when firebombs struck a Strider's Strikers barracks facility. He
was off-duty and sleeping at the time of the explosions. He was probably killed
instantly because he was close to the immediate blast area of the first bomb that
struck the facility.
