Throughout her years as an Acer's Hueys pilot, Jasmine Geutie has survived
decades of overwhelming stress, always concerned with the secrecy of the team
and the possible dangers they might encounter. Jasmine's career as a
Mechwarrior began with little or poor piloting experience. She originally was and
still is valued for her incredible ability to gauge the dangers involved in any
situation.
Because most of the Acer's Hueys' careers have been spent on the run, Jasmine
has fine tuned her talents to better incorporate an in-depth understanding of
motives. Though she does an incredible job, she blames herself for the loss of her
teammate Ellie Tressle's disappearance. While she does not explain her problems
to anyone, Jasmine sometimes fails to hide her inner disappointments with herself.
On these occasions, other members of the unit build her confidence and give her
reassurance.
Jasmine is very happy with the proposed partnership between the Hueys and
Strikers. She initially believed that the Hueys biggest problems could and would
be solved in the next few years. She was correct in this assumption, with the legal
recovery the Hueys unit has made. However she had not anticipated the incredible
losses the team would suffer on their journey to Outreach.
Jasmine had a special interest in the Strider's Strikers' commander, Mike Strider.
Though she had not told many of these feelings, it is likely that most knew of them
given the two's living arrangements. She looked up to him because of his
similarities to Ace Leghorn. Both men cared tremendously about their teams, a
trait that Jasmine had come to admire more than any other quality.
Jasmine was able to recover the secret information that the Hueys team had
offered to share with the Strider's Strikers, which has sense led to the capture of
the Arbiter lostech Warship. Her role in the data retrieval and near death
experience with the enemies encountered taught her very real lessons about the
dangers of her job. It also cemented her relationship with Mike Strider. The two
began spending much of their time together as she recovered in the hospital's
intensive care section.
Jasmine's life has been very hard recently. She considers the loss of her Hueys
teammates in 3067 her personal responsibility, which has led to a devastating
depression. Only months after that tragedy occurred, she lost Mike Strider in the
Blakist attacks of 3068. She has received much needed support from her
teammates, but she appears to be permanently changed by some of the recent
hardships she's been forced to endure.
