Coming from the far Periphery near Kuritan space, Otis Henson was both a
supporter of his nation and that of the Draconis Combine. Hoping the two would
combine successfully, Otis had watched for years as political debates failed to
bring the two together. Once an active politician himself, Otis took up Mech
piloting as a release from stress. Soon he found himself in his nation's military,
acting as a scout in regular border patrols. Gradually becoming obsessed with the
concept, he purchased his own BattleMech and went searching for work on
Outreach. Signing on with the Striker representative, Otis was part of the massive
upgrade the Strikers underwent.
Otis was killed in 3067. He was unlucky enough to be at the epicenter of a Blakist
nuclear detonation. The blast was aimed at destroying the Defensive Company,
who'd been practicing combat exercises on the Trilobite Moon. Otis died instantly
in the explosion.
