Undone

[dcs_p]Missing most from the team were Devon and Mike’s leadership, an example that
all used to bear witness to. The two had been the backbone of the Clan and
Inner Sphere’s trust in each other. Their example was the rock on which the
team had been built, on which the team had thrived.[/dcs_p]
[dcs_p]But a new struggle was building within the team, a struggle Dana knew might
break it apart. Both Inner Sphere and Clan members were struggling for power
in deciding the future of the unit. Even Acer’s Hueys Commander Merrick Leghorn
was taking interest in the Strikers’ future. No one could predict what might come
next, but it seemed the Clans would hold larger stakes in the mercenary unit.
Ryan Allen, the secondary Inner Sphere commander, had declined his right to
lead the unit. Sasha Breen, secondary leader for the Clan half of the unit, had
accepted her Clan command.[/dcs_p]
[dcs_p]Duo Maxwell was now entrusted with the Inner Sphere half, both an honor and
right given to him by Ryan. The sensible samurai monk seemed an almost
perfect replacement. His caution and reason were both welcome new qualities in
these new rough and dangerous times.[/dcs_p]
[dcs_p]Dana knew that she herself had to stay. She and her son might very well be the
keys that would one day tie the two sides together.[/dcs_p]
[dcs_p]Clan and Inner Sphere.
And with that thought, Dana cleared her head. For now was the time to listen.
Jasmine began to speak.[/dcs_p]
