Experienced Scout
An average scout pilot with better than average balance, Thomas T. D.TrevahrDhyl has had his fair share of dangerous missions. Over the past 4
years, Thomas has walked into more than a few traps. Through a combination
of luck and skill, he has survived each of these situations to fight another day.
Thomas started piloting as a freelance mercenary when he turned 18. Before
his career began, he familiarized himself with BattleMechs through arcade
simulators and working as an AgroMech hand on his home planet. Thomas
seems to be a natural pilot. His actions are very fluid, making it seem as though
he is one with his machine. While his gunnery skills are only average, Thomas
maximizes his talents by choosing the role of a scout. He is quite capable in
avoiding enemy fire through evasive actions, but he is even better at handling
enemy fire head on. Thomas has sustained attacks from heavy and assault
lances. He is quite able when it comes to keeping his Mech upright while the
machine is weathering enemy fire.
Thomas joined the Hueys when they were upgraded to a company sized unit.
Though he was primarily hired to fill a replacement position for Piter Vichkle,
Thomas has been welcomed into the team with open arms. Because he has
previous battle experience, most of the Hueys members look to him when
situations go sour. Thomas enjoys the attention he receives. He is aware that
he has somewhat of a leadership role despite the absence of a commanding
position. Von Sturmer doesn't seem to appreciate this praise, but Thomas and
him get along well despite the friendly competition.
After the Hueys hollow victory over their Kuritan captors, the unit decided to
add yet another lance and purchase some Mechs for its new members. Thomas
was initially prepared to sell his Mech to the unit, then purchase another Mech
for his own freelance purposes. Upon hearing the team was looking for new
permanent members, Thomas debated on his plans to continue freelancing.
Making a last minute decision, he agreed to sell the Mech for a discounted price
in exchange for a guaranteed position on the Hueys team. After comparing his
piloting tests with Yauri and Von, it was determined Thomas would be unable to
attain a commanding position. While this was a drawback considering his
experience, he negotiated a deal with the Ace Leghorn.
Thomas is seemingly cursed with a rather unique problem. Despite his best
efforts and repair work, his 20 ton Wasp Mech has frequent mechanical
troubles. It is common for his weapons to malfunction in battle, which can
obviously cause serious problems when facing enemy units. Thomas hopes his
new team can help him to permanently fix the reoccurring problem. Only time
will tell if his machine is truly a lemon, or if the problem has been repeatedly
overlooked by technicians.
